EIFS Stucco
EIFS stucco (Exterior Insulation and Finish System) is a type of building cladding that provides insulation and decorative finish to the exterior of buildings. It is also referred to as synthetic stucco. It is composed of a foam insulation board, a base coat, and a finish coat that is textured and colored to look like traditional stucco. Between the first and final layer water resistant and air-resistant barriers are added. These additional layers increase the insulation properties and energy efficiency of the EIFS stucco. Synthetic stucco siding is known for its energy efficiency, durability, and versatility in design, and is often used in commercial and residential construction.
