EIFS Stucco

EIFS stucco (Exterior Insulation and Finish System) is a type of building cladding that provides insulation and decorative finish to the exterior of buildings. It is also referred to as synthetic stucco. It is composed of a foam insulation board, a base coat, and a finish coat that is textured and colored to look like traditional stucco. Between the first and final layer water resistant and air-resistant barriers are added. These additional layers increase the insulation properties and energy efficiency of the EIFS stucco.
